On the day of the wedding everything must fit perfectly. The groom with the bride. The bride into her dress. And the Bridal Jewelry with the whole outfit. And at least with the last point we can help you with. We will fulfill your dream and will work with you on modern jewelry for your big day.
Jasmina Jovy Jewelry could fulfill this dream for Stylist Sabrina Stuhr last summer. Together they worked on a bracelet that mirrored the design of her wedding rings – including elements of her wedding dress by British designer Temperley London.
The full-time stylist who, among other things, has done work for La Biosthétique loves individuality and wanted for professional reasons to get everything out of her accessories. In my studio, the idea formed to emphasize the focus on the corsage of her dress. Her curly wild hair with hair accessories made from small pearls paired with the romantic embroidery on her wedding dress made her romantic look perfect. So it became quickly clear: the main focus of her accessories should be on her wrist and hands. A blossom, inspired by the embroidery of her dress became the stylistic element of her otherwise simple bangle. One small challenge though: Sabrina has very slim wrists. Nevertheless, we wanted to guarantee the perfect fit of the jewelry. The focus should always be on the blossom and the bangle shouldn’t shift.
We thought long about including pearls in the bangle, to reflect the ones in the corsage, so Sabrina cam to our Studio to try on some pearls, but in the end, she wanted to be able to wear the bangle every day, which meant it shouldn’t turn out too elegant. Because of this we decided against the pearls. The bangle finally became the same matte coating as Sabrina’s wedding ring and was manufactured in the same shade of gold (18 carat yellow gold). The base of the bangle is sterling silver and was subsequently galvanized, so that the coloring was the same as the one of the weddings rings. The gold tones shouldn’t be different colors for we wanted a perfect Look.

The postdoc dermatologist Anneli wanted the perfect accesory for her wedding look, as well. Besides her wedding rings we also had the honor to design her neck and ear jewelry. Anneli wanted her jewelry to be very delicate and simple – and of course the gold tones also had to fit together here while the necklace had to be the perfect length. Together we determined the neckline of her dress by Rena Sposa and chose the right size of the high quality Akoya Pearl by Gellner, so that it could lay perfectly over her sternum. Pearls are still the most popular bridal jewelry. We got a big selection of pearls in the color of her dress and were so able to decide on the perfect size and coloring for her ear and neck jewelry. Because pearls vary greatly in colors and qualities we consult with the knowledge of Gellner Pearls. The delicate necklace should also be something special, which is why Anneli decieded on a curb chain coated with diamonds that is only manufactured in a very delicate and high quality in Germany. The necklace, made of 18 carat gold, should also be wearable in everyday life so we developed an eyelet that we could laser on after the wedding so that Anneli could chose a different length, depending on the neckline of her shirt, anew every day.
In contrast to the necklace we wanted to create a beautiful mix of materials on the wrist, which is why Anneli consciously decided on the golden Inca-Bar Bracelet from our “Hidden Faces” collection. We manufactured it for her in a special size (XS). Thereby nothing was standing in the way of her big day.
So, curious?
You also got a wedding coming up and ask yourselves: what kind of jewelry goes with my wedding dress? Which hue of white is that anyways? Am I the type for pearls? Could I afford diamonds or would leather be a better style-mix anyways?
